Today you’ll learn my favorite method for how to bind a quilt or quilted pillow!
Binding is the last step towards completing a quilt and it’s my favorite part of the process – there’s just something about those crisp, finished edges! Quilt binding is not only functional – depending on your fabric choice, it can also be a fun decorative statement. Although I love to hand stitch my binding, I’m too busy most of the time. I prefer to machine bind my quilts and use a decorative stitch which is easy, sturdy and forgiving. In this video tutorial I will be showing you my favorite binding method which I use for quilts, mini quilts and quilted pillows.
I hope you’ll enjoy this tutorial – it’s part 3 of the Quilt As You Go Pillow tutorial video series (click here) where you will learn how to make a quilted pillow with envelope backing and quilt binding.
