In the past few weeks, I’ve been working on a special project: (Werbung) Independence Day is right around the corner! If you’re still on the lookout for a quick and easy 4th of July project, I have a this free patriotic quilt pattern for you! This fun trow pillow or mini quilt is my second project for the Checkered Heart Quilt Block. And the quilt top for this pillow is my second try. I’ve already made one using a pink and white striped background print but didn’t like my fabric coice at all – the quilt top was way to busy and I’m glad I went with the solid pink! I wanted to offer a free pattern that you, and I of course, too, could enjoy more than once. The Checkered Heart Quilt is the first of several projects I have planned for this block and I’m already working on some cute Halloween and Christmas projects!

Es sind nur noch ein paar Tage bis Independence Day! Wenn du eine Affinität zu den USA hast und noch auf der Suche nach einem schnellen und einfachen Projekt für den 4. Juli bist, dann habe ich heute eine kostenlose Patchwork-Anleitung für dich! Dieses Kissen oder Mini Quilt ist mein zweites Projekt für den Checkered Heart Quilt Block. Und das Quilt Top ist mein zweiter Versuch – mit den rosa/weißen Streifen die ich ursprünglich als Hintergrundstoff gewählt hatte, war ich überhaupt nicht glücklich!
