[Dieser Beitrag enthält Werbung] Willkommen zum siebten Block des 6 Köpfe 12 Blöcke – Quilt Alongs, dem schönen Shine Bright Quilt Block! Dieser Block wird ausschließlich nach der Foundation Paper Piecing Methode genäht – was nach Priscilla kein Problem mehr für dich sein sollte! Wie immer hat das Verteilen der Farben bei mir am längsten gedauert. Und diesmal habe ich erstmal auch bei dieser Patchwork-Methode Kette genäht – und mir das Trimmen für zwischendrin, und Papier-entfernen für ganz zum Schluss aufgehoben (funktioniert besonders gut mit einem besonders kleinen Stich: 1.3 Länge und nichts bleibt hängen!)
Meine Kombination aus klein gemusterten Pastelltönen und Low Volumes (Drucke mit cremefarbenen Hintergrund) aller meinen Stoffkollektionen sowie dem pinkfarbenen Hintergrundstoff (Kona Cotton Medium Pink), und meinem cremefarbenen Standardstoff ist diesmal so verteilt, dass die Blöcke heller wirkt. Gefällt mir auch sehr gut! Ich wünsche dir viel Freude mit dem neuen Block!

Hello and welcome to block number seven of the 6 Köpfe 12 Blöcke – Quilt Along, the beautiful Shine Bright quilt block! This block is all Foundation Paper Pieced – which shouldn’t be any problem after Priscilla, right? Deciding on the fabric placement takes the most time, as always… And for the first time I chained pieced my paper pieces and pieced my blocks as efficient as possible. Choosing the right stitch length plays a huge role – with 1.3 it’s super easy to rip off the paper!
The fabric placement of the pastels and low volume prints from all my lines, the pink solid for the background (Kona Cotton Medium Pink) and my go-to solid creme fabric makes the blocks appear much brighter than the others. I like it! I hope you’ll enjoy making the block!
