Vintage Quilt Blocks

Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich diese wunderschönen Vintage Quilt Blocks von Charise von dem Blog Charise Creates entdeckt. Sind die nicht bezaubernd? Ich musste mich einfach Ihrem Quilt Along anschließen. Das perfekte Projekt für all die schönen 1930er Stoffe die noch nie zum Einsatz gekommen sind. Gestern konnte ich ein wenig Zeit einschieben und den ersten Block nähen. Da ich eh total hinterher bin, dachte ich mir, ich fange mit einem der Einfachen an. Und hab eine leise Ahnung davon, was da noch auf mich zukommt… Sicher ist jedenfalls, wenn ich das erfolgreich gemeistert hab, gibts keinen Quilt Block mehr den ich nicht nähen kann!
A few weeks ago I came across those beautiful vintage quilt blocks. Aren’t they adorable? I just had to join the quilt along Charise of Charise Creates is hosting! It’s the perfect project for all those 1930s repros I never used before. Yesterday I managed to squeeze in a little sewing for myself and made my first block. Since I’m all behind, I decided to start with an easy one, and now have a slight idea of what’s awaiting me… Well anyway, when I’m done, I’m sure I’ll be able to sew any quilt block I want!
