HOW TO MAKE EASY CORNER TRIANGLES

In this video tutorial I’m showing you how to make Easy Corner Triangles, a technique that is commonly used, and that you’ll find helpful in a lot of your quilting!

Easy Corner Triangles – in other words a triangle on the corner of a segment – are commonly used to make traditional quilt blocks like flying geese, snowball and star quilt blocks. I use this quilting technique all the time – it’sperfect to create the figurative shapes you’ll find in many of my quilt patterns.

Cotton fabric squares and rectangles of any size or as indicated in the pattern
you’re using. In this tutorial I used

– (1) 4” x 4” square (Fabric A)
– (1) 2 ½” x 2 ½” square (Fabric B)
and
– (1) 2 ½” x 4 ½” rectangle (Fabric A)
– (1) 2 ½” x 4 ½” rectangle (Fabric B)

You’ll also need:
heat erasable fabric marker, quilting ruler, rotary cutter, pins.
